A professional-grade basement wine cellar system for a CR Land Zhiyu Yunjing villa, featuring smart climate control, U-shaped steel-and-oak racking, and a three-tier storage design that brings traditional cellaring into the digital age.
The villa owner needed a full basement conversion that could provide precise, digitally controlled climate conditions for a serious wine collection. The cellar had to accommodate large-format storage while offering an immersive selection experience within the U-shaped footprint.
VNICE built an independently operating cellar system with a smart panel for real-time control of temperature, humidity, and air quality. The interior features a U-shaped steel-and-red-oak racking system — North American imported red oak paired with food-grade stainless steel in an industrial-meets-warm aesthetic. A three-tier design provides vertical direct-insert palisander sections on top and bottom for stable long-term storage, with angled mid-section shelves that display labels at a glance for easy browsing and retrieval.
