Guangzhou C17 Whisky Bar L-Shaped Cabinet

Asia PacificClub2024

Overview

An L-shaped purple-leather wine and whisky cabinet for Guangzhou's C17 Whisky Bar, featuring purple leather door panels with gold handles, oak-and-acrylic interior shelving, and matching leather-clad drawers that create a unified jewel-box aesthetic.

The Challenge

C17 Whisky Bar required a premium display cabinet that could anchor the bar's identity with a bold color statement while providing functional storage for whisky bottles, cigar accessories, and glassware. The L-shaped corner space needed to be utilized efficiently while creating an immersive atmosphere for whisky tasting.

Our Solution

VNICE designed an L-shaped cabinet stretching along the corner of the bar space, with door panels wrapped in rich purple leather paired with gold handles — each opening feels like unveiling a precision jewel box. The interior blends oak shelving with acrylic elements: oak provides the warm substance to cradle whisky bottles, while transparent acrylic lets light penetrate freely, casting amber reflections through the spirits. Center drawers are clad in the same purple leather as the doors, unifying the visual language from facade to interior while storing cigar cutters and glassware accessories.

Results

  • 150+ whisky bottles displayed with amber light effects through acrylic.
  • Purple leather and gold handles establish the bar's signature visual identity.
  • L-shaped layout maximizes corner space and creates an immersive tasting zone.
  • Unified leather language across doors and drawers delivers a cohesive design.
