Twin 2 m × 2.8 m custom wine cabinets for Hangzhou's Guitangdong restaurant, featuring mirrored-glass back panels that double the visual depth and an all-upright storage design in raw stainless steel that balances culinary warmth with industrial precision.
The restaurant required a wine display that could maximize visual impact within limited floor space while maintaining easy access for service staff. The cabinets needed to accommodate wine, sake, whisky, and crystal glassware in a single cohesive system.
VNICE created two identical 2 m wide × 2.8 m tall cabinets as twin pillars flanking the dining space. Mirrored glass back panels extend visual depth infinitely, making the bottles appear to multiply in their reflections. Raw-finish stainless steel shelving contrasts with the restaurant's warm ambiance while ensuring easy cleaning and durability. An all-upright storage philosophy runs throughout — no angled or direct-insert sections — giving wines, spirits, and crystal glasses the most orderly presentation possible.
