A 3.6 m × 2.6 m triple-pair leather-clad wine cabinet wall for a Hangzhou villa living room, featuring horizontal storage for up to 156 Bordeaux bottles, a central wine-king spotlight display, and a seamless flush-mount design that integrates the cellar into the architecture.
The villa owner wanted a large-capacity wine wall that would sit flush within the living room architecture without occupying additional floor space. The cabinet needed to store a significant Bordeaux collection in optimal horizontal position while featuring a central showcase for prized bottles.
VNICE designed a 3.6 m wide × 2.6 m tall installation of three side-by-side double-door cabinets, their surfaces wrapped in fine leather that lends a warm, tactile quality to every opening and closing — like handling a precision-crafted leather case. The left and right pairs use all-horizontal racking, each cabinet holding 78 Bordeaux bottles in constant temperature and humidity. The center pair features dual wine-king display positions under focused spotlights, turning trophy bottles into the room's visual focal point. The entire assembly is flush-mounted into the wall, becoming the architecture itself.
